Make a DifferenceThe Wound Care Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing patients with chronic wounds that have persisted for over 30 days and are not responding to treatment.
In this role, you will serve as a primary care provider for wound care patients, conducting initial assessments, maintaining accurate records, and providing discharge instructions and dressings. Additionally, you will take on responsibilities related to case management.
Your Exceptional Skills and Qualifications• Demonstrated performance in alignment with professional nursing standards, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission of eCommunity.
• Proven abilities in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program recognized by the National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA), or possess three years of relevant nursing experience.
• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Indiana as per the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an acute care RN is required.
• Experience in wound care is preferred.
