Key Responsibilities:

The Junior Account Executive will engage in prospecting, forecasting, demonstrating, and securing business within their designated territory. This role will work closely with a seasoned Account Manager for the initial period to gain insights into our operations and foster relationships with clients, manufacturers, and internal teams. The goal is to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to transition into a dedicated Capital Sales Territory within a specified timeframe.

Your Contributions Will Include:

  • Efficiently managing daily schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage of the assigned territory.
  • Understanding and nurturing the market dynamics within the designated accounts.
  • Achieving or surpassing established activity benchmarks for outreach, meetings, presentations, proposals, and finalized sales.
  • Assisting in the formulation of annual business strategies and sales plans to meet company objectives and enhance profitability.
  • Initiating and coordinating strategies to penetrate new market segments.
  • Providing timely updates to management regarding performance metrics and activity levels.
  • Ensuring customer commitments are fulfilled to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Taking ownership of customer-related issues and collaborating with relevant departments for resolution.
  • Engaging with clients and engineers during pre-sales activities, including site visits and opportunity evaluations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with machine tool vendors and third-party partners.
  • Adhering to company policies and ethical standards while ensuring team compliance.
  • Participating in training sessions and seminars to stay informed about industry advancements.
  • Maintaining comprehensive technical knowledge of the product lines offered by the company.
  • Educating potential clients on the advantages of our products.
  • Integrating sales activities into our CRM system for effective lead and sales management.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred educational background includes an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years in capital sales, B2B sales, or related fields with a proven track record is essential.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite are required.
  • Proficiency in relevant software is advantageous for transitioning into the Capital Sales Account Manager role.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
  • Ability to cultivate effective working relationships across various levels of the organization.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Quick thinking and sound decision-making abilities are crucial.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including some overnight stays.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and conflict resolution abilities, are essential for success in this role.
