Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Sonic Healthcare. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collecting blood samples from patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-focused service and care
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples
• Collect and prepare non-blood specimens
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians

• This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, as well as abide by all applicable privacy and security standards. Employees are expected only to access PHI when it is required to fulfill job duties.
