Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Sonic Healthcare. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collecting blood samples from patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient-centered care and ensure a positive experience for all patients
Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and other methods
Prepare and process non-blood specimens
Ensure proper labeling and test ordering
Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous phlebotomy training or experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer and data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
