Legend Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Director Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of the nursing department, including recruiting, training, and scheduling staff.
- Verify the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments, and orders.
- Participate in regular resident assessments and service planning, and follow up with ancillary health care services as needed.
- Assist with the move-in and move-out process, including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
- Provide direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or to fill an open shift.
- Fulfill other duties as needed, such as assuming the Health Care Director's responsibilities in their absence, and relaying concerns to the Director.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Requires a current nursing license (RN or LPN) and CPR certification as required by the state.
- Requires at least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
- Prefers previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living.
