Job Summary:

RTX is seeking an Electrical Assembler I to join our team. As an Electrical Assembler I, you will work in the conformal coat, wire prep, and wave solder areas, performing mechanical and/or electrical assembly. You will accurately read blueprints and demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools. You will also accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions. Responsibilities:

  • Work in the conformal coat, wire prep, and wave solder areas
  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly
  • Accurately read blueprints
  • Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools
  • Accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions
  • Take ownership of the accuracy of processes and understand the impact of nonconforming work
  • Effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities
  • Focus on safety and quality is extremely important
  • Be highly motivated and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations
  • Build parts that meet drawing specifications
  • Comply with applicable elements of quality systems (ACE)
  • Meet internal and external customer deadlines as determined by the team
  • Work successfully in a team environment
  • Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certification as required
  • Comply with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs
  • Handle multiple tasks

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of experience is typically required
