Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Nonwoven Carding Process Specialist to join our manufacturing team at First Quality. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency and quality of our Nonwoven department.

About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to utilize your technical skills and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be working closely with our team to ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain Nonwoven carding process equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Assist in training new team members on Nonwoven carding process procedures.
  • Document all operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities in a journal or logbook.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize process efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Nonwoven carding process operations or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational school training preferred.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools, such as micrometers and vernier calipers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.

Work Environment:
You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, exposed to fiber dust, and occasionally operating forklifts and scissorlifts during shifts. Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area are also part of this role.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
