Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at St Julien Hotel & Spa. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our guest rooms, corridors, and associate workspaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean all mirrors, counter tops, windowsills, A/C vents, brass, elevator doors and tracks, signs, and displays on all floors as assigned on a daily basis.
  • Trash and Linen Management: Empty all trash and linen bags periodically during each 8-hour shift, lifting 20-50 lbs.
  • Supply Receiving and Stocking: Assist with supply receiving and stocking, and lifting boxes and/or buckets up to 50 lbs.
  • Floor Care: Operate buffer machines when assigned to polish and/or strip floors.
  • Guest Services: Deliver and pick-up all guest requested items within 10 minutes.
  • Service Area Maintenance: Sweep and mop assigned service areas and linen closet floors daily.
  • Vending Machine Maintenance: Clean vending machines and floors in vending areas.
  • Linen Supply: Supply linen for Room Attendant carts as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain standard number of supplies in linen closet.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Move furniture as assigned in rooms, transport rollaway beds, and turn mattresses.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report damage to property and report needs to immediate supervisor.
  • Public Area Maintenance: Empty trash in public areas, Front Desk, Concierge, and bar area.
  • Exterior Maintenance: Check all exterior of Hotel for trash, wall marks, etc.
  • Stairwell and Elevator Maintenance: Sweep/mop all stairwells and service elevator landings as assigned.
  • Cart Maintenance: Stock Housekeeping carts with supplies and assist other Housekeepers with VIP rooms.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail oriented. Ideal candidate is a team player with strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience: Previous Housekeeping experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Availability: Must have flexible availability be able to work weekends and holidays.
