Role of a Style Consultant

A Style Consultant is dedicated to operational excellence and delivering an exceptional guest experience, bringing the essence of style to life through engaging in-store displays that facilitate effortless self-discovery. Style Consultants are approachable and attentive, assisting guests on the sales floor and in fitting rooms. Responsibilities include ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked with the appropriate products, accurately priced, and clearly signed, featuring the right sizes, styles, and colors across various departments including Apparel & Accessories, Home, and Baby.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere by genuinely greeting all guests.
  • Observe and assess guest needs through body language and verbal cues to tailor your assistance.
  • Utilize store tools to gain insights into key metrics, sales objectives, and inventory levels.
  • Maintain product availability by keeping the sales floor organized and replenished, ensuring a guest-ready shopping experience.
  • Create an inviting shopping environment by staying updated on trends and executing visual merchandising standards.
  • Utilize fitting rooms to welcome and inspire guests, providing personalized recommendations.
  • Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to address guest inquiries and enhance their experience.
  • Balance guest interaction with task completion, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Adapt to changes in product assortment and maintain an inspiring area throughout the year.
  • Take ownership of assigned areas, ensuring the sales floor is well-zoned and stocked.
  • Accurately execute promotional signage and be informed about ongoing promotions.
  • Implement revisions and sales plans as per defined categories.
  • Manage backroom fills and maintain organization in backroom areas.
  • Prioritize guest engagement while managing workload effectively.
  • Utilize available tools to meet guest needs, enhancing their shopping experience.
  • Express gratitude to guests, reinforcing our commitment to their satisfaction.
  • Uphold a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Work safely and identify hazards, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Support guest services such as cashier duties and order pick-up while maintaining compliance.
