Bindery Technician

We are seeking an experienced Bindery Technician to join our team at Vomela Commercial in Elk Grove, IL.

Job Summary:

The Bindery Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining cutting and folding machines, as well as ensuring the quality of finished products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical principles and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cutting and folding machines to produce high-quality finished products
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines and achieve production goals
• Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum one year experience in operation of cutting and/or folder equipment
• General knowledge of folding machinery
• Ability to understand general mechanical principles
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
