Job Summary

STS Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Lead A&P Mechanic to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, modifying, and repairing aircraft at our maintenance base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot technical discrepancies and execute repairs of company aircraft
  • Accomplish aircraft inspections per company procedures
  • Lead and guide mechanics on advanced tasks
  • Coordinate materials and tooling requirements for projected work
  • Schedule manpower to cover aircraft maintenance and inspections
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • 5+ years of experience in Line Maintenance on Boeing Aircraft
  • 1+ year of Lead experience
  • Formal training on advanced systems/avionics on Boeing aircraft
