Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and safe delivery.
- Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in discharge planning, ensuring patients receive necessary support and resources for a smooth transition home.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum six months' experience in an acute care setting, preferably in medical-surgical nursing.
