Job Summary

Krän is a leading crane and logistics company serving Colorado and surrounding states. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service, ensuring maximum safety, and delivering excellent support to our clients and their affiliates.

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver Class A to join our team as a Crane Rigger. This role involves manipulating and transporting rigging lines, hoists, pulling gear, and/or support materials to assist the crane team in completing tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL, a clean MVR, and be willing to obtain a NCCCO Riggers Certification. They will also be able to pass a fit for duty test, identify hand signals, weight limits, safety regulations, and operating codes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, comply, and promote safety procedures laid out by the company
  • Work closely and communicate well with internal and external crews and managers
  • Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear
  • Use hands, hand-tools, and power-tools to secure loads to rigging
  • Manipulate rigging lines and hoists to move or support loads in compliance with safety standards
  • Communicate verbally or with signals to internal and external workers engaged in hoisting or lifting
  • Ensure the safety and reliability of rigging by properly testing, maintaining, cleaning, and storing rigging equipment, cables, and components
  • Participate in safety, informational, and educational trainings to promote a safe work place and advance knowledge and expertise
  • Report all incidents, injuries, and/or accidents immediately to supervisor or manager
  • Complete all paperwork in a legible and timely manner

Requirements

  • Possess a valid CDL and clean MVR
  • Possess or be willing to get a NCCCO Riggers Certification

Work Environment

The employee is required to wear appropriate FR clothing and PPE equipment for which Krän provides and annual allowance for. The employee could occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee will often be performing duties near moving mechanical parts, and sometimes high or precarious places. The employee will regularly be exposed to outdoor conditions and weather within the region.
