Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver Class A to join our team. As a Crane Rigger, you will be responsible for manipulating and transporting rigging lines, hoists, and equipment to assist the crane team in completing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and comply with safety procedures and protocols
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external crews and managers
  • Select and inspect gear, components, and cables according to load, job site, and work schedule
  • Assemble, install, and transport supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear
  • Use hands and tools to secure loads to rigging
  • Manipulate rigging lines and hoists to move or support loads safely
  • Communicate with internal and external workers engaged in hoisting or lifting
  • Ensure the safety and reliability of rigging equipment, cables, and components
  • Participate in safety training and educational programs
  • Report incidents, injuries, and accidents to supervisors or managers
  • Complete paperwork in a timely and legible manner

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid CDL and clean MVR
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a NCCCO Riggers Certification
  • Pass a fit for duty test and identify hand signals, weight limits, safety regulations, and operating codes
  • Pass a drug screen and background check

Physical Demands:

The job requires climbing, standing, crawling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and sitting for extended periods. Employees must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and work on the ground and from great heights.

Work Environment:

The employee will be required to wear appropriate FR clothing and PPE equipment provided by Krän. The employee may be exposed to extreme temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the workplace is moderate, but hearing protection may be required at times.
