Job Overview

The Boldt Company seeks a skilled Construction Management Professional to fill the role of Project Engineer. This position plays a vital part in the project management team, ensuring the successful completion of construction projects according to contract documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety: Ensure adherence to safety, ethics, and compliance requirements at all times. Assist in implementing site safety programs and ensure subcontractor compliance with Boldt safety standards.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, other Boldt staff, and owner's representatives to resolve issues related to plans, specifications, and field constraints.
  • Coordination: Attend meetings with contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction efforts.
  • Reporting: Develop reports such as General Conditions Items, labor, safety, change order logs, quality control, status reports, and punch lists.
Requirements
  • Education: Four-year engineering or construction management degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to the subject area.
  • Credentials: Valid driver's license may be required; individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range for this position: $67,000 - $85,800 per year. The actual compensation will depend on various factors, including candidate qualifications, skills, experience, location, and alignment with market data.
