The Rigger/Ironworker Foreman will oversee the installation of steel girders, columns, and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks as directed by the Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with TMC Safety Policies and TMC Quality Control Plan
- Plan and coordinate work schedules, labor, and equipment needs daily
- Conduct daily huddles in the absence of the Superintendent
- Report any potential changes or extras to the appropriate Field Superintendent
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Ironworker Foreman working on Heavy Civil related construction
- Must have experience with layout, connecting, and rigging
- Ability to work at all heights is a must
- Ability to read blueprints, interpret symbols and abbreviations on plans and drawings
- Prior rigging experience to include knowledge of hand signals, rigging gear, inspection, and proper use
- Have a valid driving license
- OSHA 10 certified
- NCCER certification is a plus
- Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with strong verbal communication skills
- Dedicated and hard working
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Demonstrate the utmost professionalism in how you represent yourself
- Lead with integrity while producing high-quality work
