Job Description Summary

As a Region Modality Leader MR, you will be responsible for driving business growth for the MR product line in the greater San Diego area. This role involves modifying procedures and practices to achieve annual volume, margin, and compliance requirements. You will lead medium-sized sales territories and work closely with regional sales, account sales, and commercial proposal staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate sales by positioning GE technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solution. Promote the business value proposition of GE technology.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of sales territories, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups to execute policy/strategy.
  • Have knowledge of best practices and how your area integrates with others; be aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Use analytical thinking and commercial experience to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in any combination of medical sales, healthcare marketing, clinical/technical MR expertise, clinical technology leadership in MR, or hospital administration in imaging.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers.
  • Must live in the greater San Diego territory and be willing to travel within the defined geography.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated history of leading within cross-functional sales teams to achieve client needs and sales quotas.
  • Ability/willingness to travel 80%+ (2-3 days per week) within territory via multiple modes of transportation as necessary.
