Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Service Corporation International. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets guests and visitors, offering assistance and direction as needed
  • Notifies staff members of appointments and escorts guests to appropriate rooms
  • Answers routine questions and provides information on services, products, and location directions
  • Notifies management of customer service and security issues
  • Receives deceased belongings from family members and follows chain of custody procedures
  • Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls to appropriate staff members
  • Maintains a comfortable environment for clients, providing beverages and amenities as needed
  • Maintains the guest-waiting area, disposing of trash and general straightening of furniture
  • Receives incoming mail and packages
  • Maintains organized and current electronic and paper files and records
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months general office, receptionist, or administrative support experience preferred
  • Proficient at operating telephones, fax, copier
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Clear and professional speaking voice and tone
  • Professional interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work a schedule including Saturday and/or Sunday and beyond standard business hours.
