Job Title: MEP Superintendent

Turner Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead our Mechanical and Electrical Systems projects in the North Central Region.

Job Summary:

The MEP Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the installation of Mechanical and Electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the installation of Mechanical and Electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and codes.
  • Supervise and direct subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and quality work.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and architects to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical systems construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and building information modeling software.
Work Environment:

The MEP Superintendent will work on-site at construction projects, exposed to various weather conditions and construction hazards. The role requires the ability to climb stairs, ladders, and negotiate work areas under construction.
