Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team at Ansco & Associates, LLC. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate wire shipments for damages, loss, or defects.
  • Manage wire inventory with routine checks and location inquiries.
  • Cut power trunk and smaller gauge wire using specially designed wire spooling machines.
  • Operate forklift equipment to load and unload large spools on and off their designated spindle locations.
  • Inspect wire shipments for damages, loss, or defects.
  • Read data lines on the wire to validate footage accurately.
  • Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment.
  • Stock shelves in the warehouse.
  • Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area.
  • Prepare wire orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements.
  • Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices.
  • Provide accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items.
  • Travel to other markets may be required for delivery/pick up of materials.
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
  • Currently have a valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
  • Experience within the Warehousing/Inventory industry (preferred).
  • Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner; forklift experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience reading data lines on the wire to validate footage accurately.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies.
  • Can communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
  • Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
  • Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions.
