About the Role

This is a critical position that plays a key role in the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring maximum client satisfaction while consistently meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers by providing personalized support and guidance
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with company policies and procedures
  • Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, and pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, and stock shelves and set up displays
  • Clean store equipment, load/unload delivery trucks, and assist with deliveries as needed
  • Remain knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest ways to improve sales
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
