Job Title: Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at Mitch Cox Construction, Inc. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise trades on site and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety requirements.
  • Develop and implement overall project work schedules, identifying the critical path and expediting scheduled critical materials and equipment for timely delivery to site.
  • Oversee work among all trades to promote a coordinated project operation, resolving local area problems regarding procedures, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment, schedule, and all other appropriate matters.
  • Act as on-site liaison with owner/architects/engineers for day-to-day construction activities of the project.
  • Develop and manage the job site safety program, ensuring employee and subcontractor compliance with applicable safety codes, the company Safety Manual, and OSHA regulations.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and management experience in construction or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Work Environment:

The Construction Superintendent will work in a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The position requires occasional travel and may involve working in outside weather conditions.
