Perinatal Nurse Coordinator Role in High-Risk Maternity

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous base salary, we provide benefits that promote work-life balance and long-term financial security.
Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions within the unit/department during the designated shift. This dynamic professional collaborates with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care, serving as a resource person for staff and modeling a commitment to our organization's values.
Responsibilities
This position involves:
- Assisting with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care
- Participating in ongoing assessments of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service
- Supporting a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery when necessary
- Supporting engagement initiatives, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other strategies
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate certification, obtained within 4 months of employment start date
- Registered Nurse licensure
- Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma
