Position Overview:
As a key member of the Heart & Vascular Electrophysiology Lab, the Cardiac Electrophysiology Ablation Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting intricate ablation procedures. This position requires expertise in collecting and interpreting electrophysiology-specific clinical data and intracardiac measurements, including electrograms and 3-D mapping. The specialist will serve as the first assistant during ablation procedures and device implants, such as pacemakers and ICDs, while also providing guidance to fellow staff members regarding ablative and mapping techniques.

Core Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and complex interventional adult electrophysiology procedures.
- Primary clinical duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording during procedures.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology.

Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree or equivalent experience (2 years).
- A minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
- Graduation from a CVT or EPT program.
- Current RCES certification is mandatory.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- IBHRE CEPS certification is preferred.
