Role Overview: As a Bilingual Retail Sales Consultant, you will deliver a consultative sales and service experience to customers seeking information and education on various products that promote health, wellness, and financial security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize web-based tools and sales systems to assess customer needs and align them with suitable company offerings.
- Conduct comprehensive plan comparisons and analyses for both new and existing members.
- Present and clarify recommended products, highlighting their benefits, features, and alternatives.
- Ensure that new customers receive essential orientations regarding self-service options and value-added features.
- Promote additional services available through our center's clinicians and service consultants.
- Cross-sell a variety of product sets to enhance value for members and the organization.
- Engage with customers through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and electronic communications to address inquiries and process sales.
- Generate and follow up on leads for new sales and member retention initiatives.
- Conduct outbound call campaigns targeting specific demographic segments.
- Facilitate enrollment or educational meetings for prospective or existing customers.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to enhance awareness of our services.
- Travel to employer groups to provide on-site enrollment assistance for individuals seeking coverage.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for community engagement and effectively track outcomes to inform future strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a retail sales environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- High school diploma or GED is necessary.
- Must obtain a State of Florida 2-15 Health, Life, and Annuities license within 60 days of hire.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based tools is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with health insurance products, including individual and group plans, is advantageous.
- Background in outside sales and/or business development is a plus.
- Experience in networking, public speaking, and relationship management is beneficial.
