About the Role

MV Transportation is seeking a skilled Mechanic Level A to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to prevent vehicle breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems, including steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels of parts and supplies.
  • Documentation: Document all activities and repairs in MV's Fleet Management System.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: A combination of at least five (5) years of apprentice-level training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
