GIS Intern Role Overview:

Halff is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GIS Intern to support our water resources-focused projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in GIS concepts, including editing, topology, and queries. This position will assist in data reporting, data review, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Converting raster data to vector data
  • Gathering and interpreting cross-sections and plans
  • Creating and editing GIS files
  • Analyzing spatial relationships

This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality work. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop v10.x and/or ArcGIS Pro 2.x-3, as well as Microsoft Office.
