Job Summary

HERO Health Staffing Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Multimodality Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality multimodality procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform imaging procedures in two or more disciplines, with a 50% focus in an advanced discipline such as CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR, on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain high-quality imaging procedures, following established protocols and standards, and ensure patient safety by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies.
  • Patient Communication: Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed, and establish rapport with patients and others.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards, and work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
  • Documentation: Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation, such as requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, remaining professional, reviewing patient satisfaction scores, and developing action plans when required.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited program.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
  • Certification/License/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer, and Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure by the State of Texas Medical Board, unless the role is MRI and Ultrasound.
Pay Rate

$36-52/hour
