Position Overview

Sinclair Broadcast Group is on the lookout for a vibrant, enthusiastic, and skilled full-time Lifestyle Media Host and digital content producer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and presenting both live and recorded interviews, segments, and packages, engaging with audiences in various settings, and showcasing products through demonstrations. You will be tasked with generating daily content across multiple platforms, including online, social media, and television.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and generation of engaging content.
  • Capable of shooting, writing, and editing both sponsored and unsponsored stories.
  • Participate in pre-show and post-show discussions.
  • Contribute to the organization’s website and all digital channels.
  • Engage with the audience through social media platforms.
  • Produce promotional segments (both live and recorded) as per the schedule.
  • Create and arrange graphics for both sponsored and unsponsored segments.
  • Select or provide supplementary footage for interviews.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with sales clients in the studio and on location.
  • Write and present interviews and stories clearly and concisely.
  • Regularly meet with sales executives to brainstorm show ideas that drive revenue.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in on-air hosting for a Lifestyle program or similar role.
  • At least 1 year of experience in video production, including shooting, writing, and editing various formats.
  • Strong interviewing and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues.
  • Professional interaction with clients and guests is essential.
  • Capability to execute promotional segments as assigned.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent technical proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with live broadcasting is essential.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in using computers, telephones, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
