George Junior Republic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team of professionals providing in-home services to at-risk children, youth, and families in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide trauma-informed care and evidence-based services to a caseload of 7-10 families referred through Children & Youth Services and/or Juvenile Probation.
- Collaborate with schools, mental health agencies, substance abuse services, public assistance programs, and other community support organizations to ensure comprehensive support for families.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each family.
- Conduct home visits, school observations, and community-based interventions to engage families and promote positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field (Professional licensure preferred).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Act 33/34 clearances and FBI clearances.
- Able to work a non-traditional schedule.
