Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote effective communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Document patient care and progress in a clear and concise manner, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
  • Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
  • AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card and ACLS/PALS certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year RN perioperative/prep & discharge experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. The successful candidate will be able to lift, turn, pull, push or ambulate patients/equipment up to 90% of the assigned shift, and must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop up to 90% of assigned shift.
