Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative team at Holmes Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the perioperative setting, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and respect among colleagues.
Requirements
  • Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year RN perioperative/prep & discharge experience preferred.
  • Must meet unit-specific care requirements.
  • Must be able to speak/understand written and verbal instructions in the English language.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-based environment and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-stress situations.
