Job Summary

Acentra Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying business problems and system gaps, gathering and analyzing information, and working with the development team to design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage requirements, including elicitation, user story creation, customer sign-off, and design documentation delivery.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and business owners to create delivery plans for business requirements and implementations.
  • Serve as the liaison between the product and the project team.
  • Present technical solutions to the business units, lead client demos and presentations, and facilitate JAD sessions.
  • Act as the requirements subject matter expert, assist developers and QA analysts during the development phase.
  • Support deployment activities, such as release notes, UAT, training, and configuration.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology and market developments, including federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of experience as a business analyst in a software development environment.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
  • Proven ability to gather clear business requirements, understand and create workflows, document detailed solutions.
  • Experience working with data integration projects, analyzing and understanding data, and creating data mapping specifications.
  • Experience documenting APIs.
  • Experience testing software applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum processes.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other collaboration tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and ability to convey business problems to ITS/development team.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations is preferred.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $85,900-$143,000 a year.

Based on our compensation program, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
