About the Opportunity

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional education and support services to students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to students with disabilities, ages 3-22, in a variety of educational settings.
  • Conduct evaluations, interventions, and documentation to support student progress and development.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized plans that promote student independence and academic success.
  • Travel to various schools within the district as assigned, and be willing to accept extra assignments based on caseload.
  • Follow district procedures, attend in-service meetings, and complete documentation requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio.
  • Valid Certificate from Ohio Department of Education.
  • Knowledgeable in pediatric interventions and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Self-starter, independent, and dependable worker.
  • Able to collaborate well with a team of therapists, teachers, parents, and outside agencies.
