About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Caretenders, a part of LHC Group. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their full potential and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating patients' functional status and physical therapy needs, and assisting the physician in developing a personalized therapy plan of care.
  • Observing and reporting patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
  • Treating patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.
  • Instructing and informing participating members of the healthcare team, the patient, and their family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
