Job Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical assembly work on equipment, modernizations, and parts for lifting equipment in the nuclear power industry.

• Assist with the start-up and troubleshooting of controls and equipment.

• Work with mechanical assemblers when required.

• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Electrical Supervisor, Manufacturing Mechanical Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, Production Planners, Engineering, and Purchasing.

Requirements:

• Must have panel wiring, schematic, and sub-assembly skills.

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.

• Must be flexible and work well with others in a team environment.

• Have good schematic reading ability and differentiate between power and control wiring.

• Understand NEC regulations as they pertain to the job.

• Familiar with various control types, including inverters, two or three-speed controls, and static stepless.

• Have solid troubleshooting skills.

• Experience working for a manufacturing company producing heavy equipment with electrical components and controls is a plus.

This position involves working with heavy equipment, cranes, hoists, etc., to assemble/build heavy equipment, such as cranes.
