Painter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced painter to join our team at Re-Fab Painting & Renovations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Have general knowledge of ladder and power equipment use (i.e. sanders, sprayers, large ladders, lifts, etc.)
  • Have a thorough understanding of preparation procedures (i.e. sanding, caulking, sealing, etc.)
  • Show an ability to learn all painting functions; i.e. paint windows, doors, soffits, fascia, shutters, etc.
  • Arrive to the job or pick-up spot prior to designated time daily, unless otherwise specified by crew leader or supervisor
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to perform light carpentry
  • Apply wall coverings, as directed by supervisor
  • Must be a team player committed to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Keep detailed reports of work completed and report daily logs to Re-Fab team
  • Complete jobs on time and budget
  • Must be able to read/understand English
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures; adhere to company standards and safety program
Requirements:
  • Applicant MUST have a reliable & insured truck or van to travel to and from job sites throughout New England
  • Working cell phone
  • This is a part-time employee position
