Work Environment: The typical day shift involves a manageable ratio of 6 patients per RN, while the night shift averages 7 to 8 patients per nurse. Each RN benefits from the guidance of a Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Chief Nursing Officer, alongside a dedicated support team that includes Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, technicians, and unit clerks.
Training and Support: New hires will receive a comprehensive orientation plan that includes clinical training tailored to ensure success in this role.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will demonstrate quick learning abilities, a strong commitment to patient care, empathy, resilience, teamwork, and active engagement with patients and colleagues to achieve optimal health outcomes. Applicants must hold a clear and unencumbered RN license in Georgia or a compact state, possess at least one year of experience in Medical Surgical or acute care, and provide two professional references who can vouch for their work and accomplishments. BLS certification is required, and CRRN certification is advantageous.
