HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Rapid Response team. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients in a high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous critical care and/or rapid response team experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Applicable national board certification required within 6 months of exam eligibility.
