Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at HoSt Bio-Energy Systems. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and successful installation of our bio-energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission bio-energy installations, including mechanical and electrical components, and travel to job sites to lead the organization, planning, performance, and testing of installations.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FATs) and Site Acceptance Testing (SATs) to ensure products meet their intended purpose.
  • Exercise discretion while solving malfunctions on installations to implement lasting solutions and complete failure services.
  • Check controls, both hardware and software, and organize, plan, and perform service and preventative maintenance of bio-energy installations.
  • Supervise contractors during the plant build-up phase and participate in the 24/7 site/emergency support team to address urgent matters that impact the safety or productivity of installations.
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a field/commissioning engineer or a comparable position, such as a process engineer or mechanical engineer.
  • Experience working with HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
