Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to production and shipping departments.
  • Coordinate and execute the loading and unloading of materials, using forklifts and cranes as needed.
  • Review work orders and report any discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
  • Assist in maintaining system location codes and ensuring accurate inventory records.
  • Convey materials safely from stores to designated areas, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
  • Count and record the number of units moved or handled to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4+ years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of material control or warehouse management systems a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, operate forklifts and cranes, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
