We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a Seasonal RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to pediatric hematology/oncology patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1 year of experience in pediatric hematology/oncology or a related field.
- Current RN licensure in Arkansas or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
