Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team in providing high-quality care to our patients. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for delivering one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, working closely with our patients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Implementation of Physicians' Prescribed Plan of Care: You will work closely with our patients' physicians to implement their prescribed plan of care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care possible.
- Patient Assessments and Coordination of Care: You will conduct thorough assessments of our patients' needs and coordinate their care with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive care.
- Administration of Prescribed Medication, Treatments, and Therapies: You will administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies to our patients, ensuring that they receive the care they need to thrive.
- Compliant, Timely Documentation of Care Provided: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our patients' care, ensuring that our team has access to the information they need to provide the best possible care.
- Health Promotion, Teaching, and Training of Family Members: You will educate our patients' family members on how to care for their loved ones, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Responsible for Accepting and Writing Verbal Orders from Physicians: You will work closely with our patients' physicians to accept and write verbal orders, ensuring that our patients receive the care they need in a timely manner.
- Active, Unencumbered License (RN/LPN/LVN): You must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license in the state in which you will practice.
- Current CPR Certification: You must have current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
- TB Skin Test (Current within Last 12 Months): You must have a current TB skin test within the last 12 months.
- Six Months Prior Hands-on Nursing Experience Preferred: While not required, six months prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred.
- Reliable Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to and from our patients' homes.
