We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operator to join our team in Salcha, AK. As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating the emulsion plant and supporting the efficient and effective operations in the magazine area.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the emulsion plant and manage machinery and equipment breakdowns to minimize business interruption
- Ensure accuracy of operation of the magazine inventory and establish cost-effective working relationships with distribution contractors
- Ensure magazines and inventories are compliant with regulatory requirements
- Manage and operate equipment and front-end loader experience is a plus
- Tractor trailer driving experience is a plus
- Mechanical experience, working with hand tools is a plus
- Up to 2 years of experience in plant operation is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more of product or other materials
- Ability to push, pull, bend, and squat while using equipment
We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $26, with salary to be determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
