Orthopedic Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic team at WVU Medicine. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care and improve outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in West Virginia or ability to obtain licensure within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum one year of experience in orthopedic nursing or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet patient needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
