Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to perform basic clinical mathematics
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required within the new hire period
  • Nursing students must have BLS certification prior to starting the clinical rotation
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Work Environment

This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Physical Requirements

This role requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination, and extensive standing and walking. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
