Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Services Coordinator with a focus on Infection Control to oversee nursing care for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. This role includes acting as the charge nurse during designated shifts, managing nursing schedules, and conducting resident assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure residents receive proper care in a safe and hygienic environment.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical documentation, including nursing notes and medication administration records.
- Manage staff scheduling and arrange for coverage during absences to comply with regulatory standards.
- Participate in the onboarding of new residents, including conducting evaluations as necessary.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and encourage their independence through social and family activities.
- Identify changes in residents' medical and behavioral conditions, developing and monitoring individualized care plans, and communicating updates to the Director of Assisted Living & Memory Care.
- Engage in staffing processes, including scheduling and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
- Act in the capacity of the Director of Assisted Living & Memory Care during their absence, including being available for on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of an LPN/LVN degree in Nursing.
- At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living or memory care settings.
- Infection Prevention certification or education is preferred.
- Experience in a leadership or management role overseeing staff is preferred.
