- Execute regular evaluations of fire extinguishers in accordance with predetermined schedules and industry standards.
- Perform comprehensive inspections of extinguishers to detect any defects, damages, or indications of deterioration.
- Keep precise documentation of inspections, testing, and maintenance activities for each unit.
- Service and recharge fire extinguishers to guarantee optimal performance and adherence to safety regulations.
- Revise service records, detailing dates, specifics, and corrective measures undertaken.
- Professionally communicate inspection results and recommendations to clients.
- Advise clients on fire extinguisher upkeep, usage, and safety best practices.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to manage service requests and address any issues.
- Remain updated on industry standards and regulations pertinent to fire extinguisher maintenance.
- Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster ongoing learning.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in fire safety are advantageous.
- Experience as a field service technician within the fire and life safety sector.
- Understanding of various fire extinguisher types, components, and servicing protocols.
- Familiarity with safety codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NFPA, OSHA).

- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

- Physical capability to lift and transport heavy equipment.
