As a Service Worker EVS-Part Time Day Shift with Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring environmental and infection control standards are met
- Performing a variety of general and specialized cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas
- Distributing clean linen to user departments and maintaining stock levels
- Removing trash and biohazard waste
- Removing soiled linen
- Cleaning according to Infection Control Guidelines
**Qualifications and Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- The ability to adapt quickly and effectively in stressful and changing situations
- The ability to operate a vacuum cleaner
- At least six months to one year of experience in institutional housekeeping
