About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, educate associates on tools and resources, and develop interpersonal skills for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Be an Expert: Plan and execute bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs, following recipe measurement instructions, and working with a variety of products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
  • Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events that impact bakery volume.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in Bakery, modeling high-quality service and products, and interacting with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training.
Requirements
  • 6 months' experience in fresh production area
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period
